my decision

My decision,

One of my hardest decisions I have made was when I was around 9 years old and Arsenal and Chelsea had both offered me to sign for their team. I was stuck in two minds, one was do I go with Arsenal because they was the first team to show interest in me, they were happy with me, so we were thinking this could be the right move as it looked promising for my development. My other decision was picking Chelsea, my entire family supports Chelsea so this would be a proud achievement, to play for the team I have always supported since being young. When we were told that Chelsea had offered to sign me, it was something we just couldn’t reject because if something went wrong with Arsenal we would have always regretted not signing for Chelsea. I had always preferred Chelsea anyway not only was they the team I supported but I enjoyed it more at Chelsea so we had to have a long think about this decision but I knew I would end up at Chelsea because my whole family would be so proud of me playing for the team that my family supports so this was one of if not my best achievement ever and I have never looked backed on signing for Arsenal because Chelsea for me was the right decision to make. Also I had always dreaming of playing for Chelsea one day and that day finally come so I just couldn’t turn down a contract to my dream club, but me an my family have always had respected Arsenal as they understood the decision I had made and Arsenal had done their best to try and persuade me to sign for Arsenal but I just couldn’t turn down Chelsea, this was my dream.

Mic Jenkins

Another Mcee we have studied is mic Jenkins and his song Martys in this song he says ‘ima get so much money, ima buy all this sh*t, ima fuck all these hoes, ninja Ima fuck your bitch’ in many rap songs they talk about getting loads of money buying a lot of expensive products, having sex with loads of girls and in this song it sums up a rappers song within a couple sentences. You can tell he is criticising the reel because when he raps those bars, hes basically saying this all that rappers rap about and he also criticised the reel because back in the day when black people were slaves he also shows a man being hung and this shows that black people Hung themselves back when they were slaves .

I disagree with the statement because God in his time of living preformed many miracles especially with the people who who were suffering so he is preventing anyone who was suffering also his son Jesus went through a lot of pain so when God didn’t do anything I think God was getting the message across that if his son suffered everyone will suffers this is why I disagree with the statement

Some people may agree with the statement because they could day that God pecormed all of these miracles and do everything perfect why does he allow bad things if he is meant to be nice and prevent everything bad then why does he allow this to happen. They could also say when he was in healing ill people why can’t he do it now? This is why some people many agree with the statement.

I disagree with the statement because Jesus (the son of God) went through a lot of pain on the cross. This will show everyone will go through some pain and everyone has done something bad or wrong so he is also showing everyone deserves to go through Pain because if lu do something bad he shouldn’t then make things good for you

Some people may with the statement because they could they could say if God has performed all these miracles and do everything perfect why does allow bad things if he is meant to be nice and meant to prevent everything bad why does he allow this to happen. They could also say when he was healing sick people why can’t he do this now? This is why some people may disagree with the statement

Mathematics

One of the Mcees we have studied is mos def and his song mathematics and I’m gonna tell you how he critics the ‘reel’. In his song mathematics he mentions ‘like I got 16 to 32 bars to rock it but only 15% of profits seem my pockets’. He critics the reel because he is basically saying when rappers rap about getting money and buying expensive things is a lie because he says the amount of bars he raps he only gets 15% of them bars reach his pockets so he’s saying rappers don’t get as much money as they say they get so he is criticising them because he’s basically telling them he is lying and most of the things they rap about is a lie.

Heavenly we are

heavenly we are is uplifting because many times in the song it gives encouragement and gives a message not give up also saying it don’t matter if you think your different in anyway way because your not, only because of the skin color or anything you are still a child of God which he created and in the song the chorus says ‘heavenly we are’ so they are describing themselves as heaven and everyone knows when people refer to ‘heaven’ basically means paradise so they are saying that there skin coulour is unique to them and they are proud to have it and proud to so share how they feel about it as in the song they express how they feel and are not ashamed of it and people need to realise this song and can this can be seen as inspiration.

First paragraph

One of the Mcees we have studied is Kendrick Lamar and his song ‘the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice’ When Kendrick Lamar mentions ‘the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice’ he is saying that the blacker you are the better you are and you should embrace it. It is important because Kendrick Lamar wants everybody to know how he feels about black peoples and why black people should embrace it and not be put down from what is said towards them. He is criticises the reel because most of the time when you listen to rap musi it’s mostly black people talking about violence and other bad things. So when people see crimes on the news or here that a black person has done something wrong people are quick to criticise them and make fun of them but if a most of the time it a white personal was to do something just as bad that wouldn’t get as much harassment as a black person would get, so In the song Kendrick sings about black people not being that bad.

Year Nine Experimental Research Phase Two: Plans

My hypothesis is when i drop the paper helicopter and change the mass of the helicopter so it can change how fast the helicopter comes down or to make the helicopter come down slower.

Equipment:

Meter stick , clamp, helicopter, stopwatch.

So my method would be to setup the clamp and set the meter stick so that if i use a human being there hands wouldn’t be shaking about so then i will get some one to use the stop watch to time it and then i will countdown to 3 and then drop it.

It would help people because the material would be cheap and there for that makes the product cheap, it would be fun for children.

this could go wrong because of the material and it could be a bit weak and it could break easy but to prevent this i could put a cheap but heavier material which prevents it from falling apart so this object could be used over a long period of time and prevent less complaints which will keep customers happy and get good comeback.

Figurative language:

simile: he was as strong as an ox

a simile is when you compare something using as or like

metaphor: the shark is the silver prince of the ocean

metaphor: the lion is the king of the jungle

hyperbole: he’s so good at football he makes Ronaldo look at crap

hyoerbole: is when you exaggerate something either for comical effect (like your momma jokes) or to boast something (like in battle rap)

The studs butchered the grass

Tho real:

when people act a certain way to fit in,??

music companies could see hip hop as profitable,??

before hip hop was invasiding the music content was about things that affects inner city communities ??

white suburbia??:

white surburbia thought they were experiencing authentic blackness??

Reel is when people is when people act a certain way to act like everyone else and not be different so they can fit in with everyone else even though they might not want to act different they have to so they don’t get taken the mick out of.

also the reel could be fake lyrics because it could be used as entertainment so all the things that all the rappers rap about like money, drugs, girls etc. It could all be fake and used as get money because it’s seen at entertainment .

music companies also see this as making profit because people get fascinated about all the things rappers rap about so they keep on listening and then they make more money.

Intro

In this essay I will be answering the the question of how have th mc’s we have studied use hip hop to criticise the reel in the first paragraph I will explain how hip how has changed then the 2nd paragraph I will explain the reel so you can understand how hip hop criticises the reel

hip hop has changed from the very first price of hip hop made in 1979 mad by sugerhill gang and in th song they rap about getting girls and how police turn on people and now days everyone raps about guns, drugs, knives and that when back then they rap about police and that which is the same as now but they didn’t use the words that the rappers now days rap about they use to never rap about sex and other sexual things  where as now every song has to have drugs, weapons or girls.

The reel is when rappers rap about how they get girls, make money, kill people and critics the police. Then you have the ‘real’ which is the real things that happen because what they rap about isn’t all true they just rap and people presume it’s true and want to be the same as them so the ‘reel’is just what could be real but we don’t know
